I don’t see any video. What should I check?

  • Verify the HDMI cable is firmly connected to both LeafKVM and the target.
  • Confirm the target is actually outputting HDMI (some systems require enabling external display).
  • Check the LeafKVM touchscreen:
    • Does it show a preview or any error status?
  • Check that the browser session is allowed to receive video (no blocked permissions).
  • Make sure the primary USB-C port is connected to the target.
  • Check that the target’s BIOS/OS supports standard USB HID devices.
  • Try reconnecting the USB-C cable or another USB port on the target.

If issues persist, consult the troubleshooting section on kvm.rs or open an issue once the repositories are public.
